Enshrined

Clem lives in a small village, fending off unwanted advances and seeks solace in Sezute, the guardian statue enshrined in the island temple. He’s stoic, majestic, unmoving and such a good listener. Keeping the emerald creature spotless has become her way of life.

But all these years, Sezute has been watching, listening and enjoying the way Clem rubs his scaled body with her cleaning cloth. He thinks she’s been courting him, and when given the chance, will she give in to her secret fantasy and become his mate?
